DESCRIPTION OF THE CREST

The top of the CREST contains words which meant – THERE IS NOTHING SO SACRED AS KNOWLEDGE.
The Crest comprises three distinct symbols.

The illuminated lamp and the open book at the lower central petal stand for knowledge and wisdom.

The paddy plants to the right symbolize agricultural development and prosperity of the area in which the College is situated. The name “Salipur” itself means the granary of paddy crops.

The revolving electrons of the atom and the firing of the rocket to the endless blue sky illuminated by the bright twinkling stars symbolize the developments in the field of science and technology through which knowledge is imparted to the students of the College.
